Given with Thai economy’s potential growth, entrepreneurs from China led by Chinese state-owned exhibition agency will parade to participate the first-time showcase being held in Thailand — the "Asian Living Showcase : International Living Instyle for Asia" -- during September 9-11. The event venue will be at Hall 4, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani exhibition centre. At the event, they will bring in a wide range of such quality and aesthetic living products as furniture, ceramics, home decoration equipment, kitchen wares and home appliances. Meanwhile, exhibitors are confident that this event will be a gateway to more international trades between Thailand and China. Cash to be changed at hands from the event is expected to exceed 150 million baht.
Mr.Hu Weiming, deputy director of Exhibition Department, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Sub-Council or CCPIT Guangdong, said that the agency and International Promotion & Exhibition Co Ltd (IPEX) have collaborated with International Promotion and Exhibition Co Ltd (IPEX) to jointly hold its first-ever tradeshow in Thailand. The "Asian Living Showcase: International Living Instyle for Asia" event will be held at Hall 4, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani exhibition centre during September 9-11. This event is aimed at promoting trades between Thailand and China as well as tightening relationship of the two nations. Moreover, the "Asian Living Showcase" can pave the way to create a greater number of Thai-Chinese bilateral trades and investments in the future.
"Currently, trading between Thailand and China has been increasing continuously. In 2009, Thailand and China showed the total foreign trades of US$38.2 billion. Hence, CCPIT has provided support for the "Asian Living Showcase: International Living Instyle for Asia", which is our first event in Thailand. We have invited a number of entrepreneurs from Chaozhou or Teochew, Guangzhou, Zhanjiang and other cities in Guangdong to open up their showcasing booths at the tradeshow. They will be also given with some financial supports by CCPIT for attending the event this time.
"We will bring in the best products to showcase here. We expect there will be cash circulation at the three-day fair at least US$5 million or 150 million baht," said Hu.
Mrs.Kannika Kaenwong, deputy general manager of International Promotion and Exhibition Co Ltd (IPEX) as a co-host of the trade show, said that the "Asian Living Showcase" will be occupied more than 5,0000 square meters of space, highlighted with Teochew Pavilion which is duplicated of the Chinese Pavilion being showcased at the "World Expo Shanghai 2010" fair. There will be a space of more than 90 sqm to be served for the "Business Matching Area" zone to facilitate our exhibitors and visitors, who are interested in business negotiations.
"This is the first event held in Thailand. Almost products are ceramic wares, furniture, home decoration items and home electrical appliances that are focused on corporate clients in the property and hotel industries as well as dealers. We expect to have more than 200 domestic and foreign exhibitors to join the showcase. Other producers to be invited are from China and Vietnam," said she.
Vachira Lerkvarakom, managing director of Nice and Solid Decoration Co Ltd, a producer and distributor of para rubber furniture, said that the event would be an opportunity of the company to introduce itself to Chinese investors because China is the largest market in the region as well as becoming a major export market of Thailand. However, the company doesn't expect a number of sales from the event as it only wants its furniture products to be more widely explored. The company has selected the most popular furniture products to be showcased at the event. At the booth, visitors will also experience the company's demonstration of para-rubber wood baking and environmental reservation processes. Para-rubber woods used as materials for producing the "Nice and Solid" furniture is also from newly grown rubber plants to substitute for existing ones.
" The 'Asian Living Showcase: International Living Instyle for Asia' that holds for the first time in Thailand will be an another stage for the company, making it to be in public eye in such new markets as China and Asian countries," said Vachira.
