Bangkok--15 Sep--Poly Plus PR Mr. Thapana Siriwattanapakdi, Vice chairman of Oishi Group (PCL), is holding a press conference to announce the appointment of “Mr.Matthew Kichodhan” as the new Director and President of “Oishi Group”. Effective from September 10th, he has taken up the top job leading the empire of Japanese foods and drinks for wellness of the new generation to the next level. For the past 19 years, he has been a marketing veteran on both local and international companies. His works have been widely praised with the highlight works include brand building for “Chang” beer in the foreign markets. Joining Oishi Group, he intends to fulfill Oishi’s mission to be the leader and innovator of the Japanese food and beverage business for the quality of life and wellness of the new generation. Mr.Matthew Kichodhan, Oishi Group (PCL)’s Director and President disclosed that, “Having joined Oishi Group, I am committed to pick up where Mr.Tan Passakornnatee, the original founder, left off by fortifying Oishi team so that we could take the next solid step in growing Oishi business in both foods and beverage. Mr.Tan had already spent his efforts throughout the past 11 years in accomplishing the toughest work in the business which is creating “Oishi Brand” to the extent that it has become the household name and has continuously been dominating food and green tea markets. For the year 2010, the sales is expected to reach the marketing goal, which has been set at 8,400 million Baht. For the last quarter of this year, the company’s beverage department will be better equipped with Cold Aseptic Filling technology which is due to commence its operation in November. Not only that this technology is capable of better retain the nutrients in our products but of producing variety of ready-to-drink beverages including green tea, drinks containing milk, cereal drinks, juices, etc. We stress on retaining the nutrients as drinks such as green tea and other wellness products are presently on the rise in the world market. Concerning the food department, we now have 11 brands altogether. Each one is different from each other so we have to adjust its marketing direction so that each one can focus on its own potential clientele.
