Latest Smartphones from LG to be introduced via Interactive Internet News Conference
LG Electronics (LG) today held a live and interactive virtual digital news conference to launch two highly anticipated smartphones from its Optimus series -- LG Optimus One and LG Optimus Chic. The two new devices featuring the latest in mobile technology will spearhead the company’s newest campaign to highlight LG’s ability to tame consumers’ information-dominated lives.

By utilizing various operating systems and incorporating smart technologies, LG prioritizes consumer choice as a key strategy for expanding its footprint in the mobile industry. In addition to the LG Optimus One and LG Optimus Chic revealed today, LG will be introducing approximately 10 new smart devices worldwide from the second half of this year to the end of 2011 under the LG Optimus label as part of its aggressive strategy to grow its share of the global smartphone market”
LG Optimus One and LG Optimus Chic are among the earliest smartphones to launch with Android 2.2, Froyo, the latest version of the Android platform, which allows for two to three times faster and smoother internet browsing, web-page loading, application pop-ups and multi-tasking.
- LG Optimus One - Featuring a fun, user-friendly user interface, LG Optimus One also includes the exclusive LG App Advisor, which recommends 10 highly rated applications every two weeks. The uniquely designed LG UI (user interface) and sleek new accessories such as the car kit cradle offer users easier and more intuitive ways to enjoy all the benefits of the brand-new Froyo platform.
- LG Optimus Chic caters to fashion aficionados with its tasteful design incorporating soft and smooth lines. The handset’s sleek curves set a new standard for smartphone design, challenging the perception that advanced Android devices need to appeal only to a hardcore tech crowd to gain widespread acceptance.

The two android-powered smartphones that will be available in Thailand are LG Optimus One with Google? and LG Optimus GT540. LG Optimus One will be available in late October, while LG Optimus GT540 is available now, and is priced at 7,990 baht.
