Fuji Xerox (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announces its market leading position in digital printing segment in Thailand. On September 15, 2010, the most cutting-edge product of the year "Color 1000 Press" has been launched to capture today’s demand in printing industry. The new system provides advanced image quality and productivity, as well as stability and reliability, which are key to boosting the added value and expanding scope of applications in variable printing. The company is confident to achieve more than 15 units by the end of this year, expecting this year total sales to reach 3 billion baht and sales target next year up to 4 billion baht.

As a result, our flagship product of the year, the “Color 1000 Press” custom-designed for profitability and productivity, propels Fuji Xerox’s customer well ahead of their competition.
Color1000 Press provide various improvements and new technologies in order to satisfy strict demands for professional usage such as productivity, efficiency, robustness, and image quality, expansion of color gamut comparable to off-set printing, security print and achieve the performance and function requested from the high-end model in a higher dimensional way. Color 1000 Press is the first high end printer to employ the EA-Eco dry ink, renowned for its advanced image quality and environmental friendly printing. Additionally, the newly developed “clear dry ink” so-called the fifth color station adds specialty to application design for spot, flood vanish, or even watermark printing which can be available for one-press time.

The Color 1000 Press is priced at 15 million per unit. If the customers want faster printing, they will be provided with support services from the company. The company has received bookings of five units of the "Color 1000 Press", targeting that the sales volume will reach 15 units by the end of this year. The company expects its sales growth next year will be at 20 percent. At the beginning of the product launch, the company has launched a promotion campaign offering any old press for Color 1000 Press in exchange for special price.
Mr. Phichai Thanyavacharakul, Department Manager Production Services Sales Operation says “for the overall marketing plan, Fuji Xerox would continue to reinforce its product lineup as the pioneer of digital printing market, especially being part of the customers' business growing given with business advices. The company's products will optimize the customers' business growth and expansion.”

However, Pichai insisted that the company would continue to develop new technologies with high quality under the "Fuji Xerox" brand in particular to printing business segment so as to maintain a leading position with 80 percent market share of 600 million baht total market. Meanwhile the company's total sales revenue is expected at 3.4 billion baht in fiscal year 2009 and 4 billion baht in the fiscal year 2010.
