Garmin-Asus launches A10, Thailand’s first Android 2.1 smartphone that features Garmin’s premium navigation, with confidence to surpass competitors by capabilities of most accurate navigation system in the current market. The chief, Pornthep, believes that the brand will eventually become leader in Thai smartphone market.

Althought Garmin-ASUS has introduced ourselves in Thailand for only 1 year; we are recognized by the admirers of Garmin’s navigation system. Garmin-ASUS A10 smartphone has equal capabilities with Garmin’s premium automotive navigation device. Detailed map of Thailand is preloaded on the A10 so that users do not have to pay and wait for third party maps to download from a server. Furthermore, the A10 features pedestrian navigation functionality, dubbed “Walking Mode”, and an electronic compass to make it ideal for city navigation.
In addition, it features voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions to destinations, 3D junction view, and lane guidance support which realistically displays road signs and junctions to make it easy for users to verify that they are on the right lane, and highway mode that helps drivers anticipate what to do next by providing details on the next three upcoming street exits for more accurate choice of traveling.
