ING Life Limited, represented by Acting co-CEOs Poolap Penkitti and Andrew M. Shaw, joined the TMB-ING Park Run Mini Marathon in the Chatuchak area and awarded prizes of cash and personal accident insurance policies to the winning runners in both the 4 kilometer and 10 kilometer races.
“ING Life is very pleased to be sponsoring the TMB-ING Park Run Mini Marathon for the 3rd consecutive year as an important part of our engagement with Thai consumers and a clear demonstration of our strong partnership with TMB,” said Andrew M. Shaw, Acting co-CEO, ING Life Limited. “As a leading life insurance provider, ING Life appreciates the importance of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle that includes getting plenty of exercise and this event is a great way for people to join together to have fun and stay healthy at the same time. The proceeds of this activity will be contributed to TMB Foundation to help children suffering from HIV/AIDS at Wat Phrabatnampu, Lopburi Province, and to support education for students in remote areas across Sukhothai Province.”
An important element of ING Life’s sponsorship of this event was the provision of prizes to the winners of the 10k and 4k runs. For the general public, money prizes were awarded to the top five finishers of twelve male age groups and the top five finishers of nine female age groups for the 10k race, three male age groups and three female age groups for the 4k race, and for TMB staff, two male age groups and two female age groups for the 4k race.
In addition to the money prizes, the top five men and women finishers of the 10k run each received a one-year ING Life personal accident insurance policy with coverage of 1 million baht. The male and female runners who took 6th to 10th place each received a one-year ING Life personal accident policy with coverage of 500,000 baht, for a total of 20 personal accident insurance policies.
“We appreciate TMB organizing this great activity and giving ING Life the opportunity to participate in an ongoing basis as part of our long-term strategic partnership,” concluded Andrew M. Shaw.
