General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate high pressure still covers northern and upper northeastern Thailand. The easterly wave moves to the Gulf and the country. Torrential rain with isolated heavy falls is expected over the Central, the East and the South during this period.

During 2-3 October, the monsoon trough will strengthen and lie across the lower Central, the upper South and the East. Heavy rain is likely much of the areas. People in the risky areas should beware of possible flash flooding. The areas include provinces of Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.
