During 26 – 27 Aug, the weak southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and Thailand while the monsoon trough line across the Myanmar and the upper Vietnam. Isolated thundershower is expected over upper Thailand. During 28 Aug – 1 Sep, the monsoon trough will move to lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. More rain is likely in the whole country with isolated heavy in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East.
The active low over the west Pacific, the east of the Philippines is expected to develop to the category 2 , tropical depression. This storm is forecast to move to Korea and Japan with no effect on Thailand.

During 28 Aug - 1 Sep, People in the North and the Northeast should beware of the severe conditions that cause forest runoffs and flash floods.
