During 12 – 15 Sep, the monsoon trough moves down to lie across the North, the upper Central and the Northeast. Including, the southwest monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. Continue rains remain over Thailand with isolated heavy rains are forecast over the country. The rather strong wind and waves are in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, 1-2 meters in the Andaman Sea and above 3 meters in thundershower areas. During 16 – 17 Sep, the monsoon trough lie across the upper North and Laos cause less rain over upper Thailand. The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the South will strengthen cause isolated heavy rain in the South and the East. The moderates wind and waves are in the Andaman Sea and in the Gulf of Thailand, about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea and above 3 meters in thundershower areas, 1-2 meters in the Gulf of Thailand and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.
During 16 – 17 Sep, the active low pressure over the Pacific Ocean will move pass Philippines to the middle South China Sea. It is expected upgrade to the Tropical Depression.
Warning
During 12 – 15 Sep, people in risky areas of the North, the Northeast, the East, and the South should beware of heavy rains and accumulated rainfall. All ship should proceed with cautions and keep away from thundershower areas while small boats should keep ashore throughout the period.
