During 25 - 26 Sep, the monsoon trough moves down to lie across the North and the Northeast to low pressure cell in the South China Sea. Less rain is likely over upper Thailand with isolated heavy rain in the North and the Northeast. The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand leading to isolated heavy rain in the South. During 27 – Sep – 1 Oct, the monsoon trough will shift to lie across the lower North, the Central and the Northeast while the low cell over the South China Sea will move follow the monsoon trough to the East, the lower Central and the upper Gulf. The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. More rain is expected over Thailand with isolated heavy to very heavy rain. The wind and waves are in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen, about 2 meters height in the Andaman Sea, 1-2 meters height in the Gulf of Thailand and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

During 27 Sep – 1 Oct, people in the risk areas of Thailand should beware of severe conditions. All ships of the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
