During 10 ? 12 Jun, the monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Laos into upper Vietnam. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rains are forecast over Thailand. The strong wind and waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the uppre Gulf of Thailand, 2-3 meters height in the Andaman Sea and above 3 meters in thundershowers. For the upper Gulf of Thailand, the waves are about 2 meters height and above 2 meters in thundershowers. During 13 ? 16Jun, the monsoon trough will weaken while the southwest monsson that remains over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand, will weaken. Less rain is likely over the upper country while isolated heavy rain remains in the upper North, the upper Northeast, the East and the South (westcoast). The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will be moderate about 2 meters height in the Andaman Sea and above 2 meters in thundershowers. For the upper Gulf of Thailand, the waves are 1- 2 meters height and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
During 11 ? 14 Jun, the low pressure over the upper South China Sea is expected to intensify and expected to move to Tokin Bay and upper Vietnam while the active low pressure cell over the upper Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify, which is leading to the southwest monsoon remains over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand until 12 Jun.
