General Situation The strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is weakening. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough lies across the North into the low-pressure cell over the Northeast of Thailand. Heavy rains remains in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South (west coast) regions. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows.
In addition, the moderate wind forces the wave up to about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers, the lower Gulf are 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters offshore. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
