Meanwhile, the Southerly and the Southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast, the Central, Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity and the East regions. Less rains with isolated thundershowers are likely in the upper country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the South. The weak wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 1 meter high and above 1 meters high in thundershowers. During 30 ? 1 Aug, The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough will lie across Myanmar and upper Laos. More rains are likely in the whole country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, East and the West of South. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf will strengthen. The wind forces the waves up to 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
