General Situation T
he weak monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Loas into the low-pressure cell over the upper Vietnam. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is weakening. Isolated heavy rains are forecast for the Northeast. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash flood and overflows.
The moderate wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to about 2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. The waves in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
