General Situation
The monsoon trough lies across the upper Myanmar and the upper Laos into the tropical storm ?MULAN? in the upper South China Sea. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand is weakened. There are continually rains for the upper country with heavy rains in some place of the East.
The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. The lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf have the waves 1-2 meters high and thundershowers have the waves about 2 meters high.
In addition, the tropical storm ?MULAN? is expected to make landfall over upper Vietnam on 11 August.
