General Situation
The monsoon trough lies across the upper North into the tropical storm MA-ON over the upper south China Sea. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. More rains is forecast for upper Thailand with isolated heavy rains in the North, the Northeast, the central, the East and the South (west coast). People should beware of the severe condition.
In addition, severe Tropical Storm MA-ON over the upper South China Sea, due about 130 km southwest of Macao, is expected to make landfall in southern China today without a directi effect on Thailand, the storm will weaken to a depression and a low-pressure cell, respectively.

Northern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Lamphun, Lampang, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.

Maximum temperature 32-35 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lamphu, Bueng Kan,
Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla,
Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat
