General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, the North and the Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over the lower Laos. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains and gusty wind are forecast in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East, including Bangkok and its vicinity and the lower South. People should beware of the severe conditions.
From 4 to 7 September, the monsoon trough will lie across the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf is strengthening. More rains and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast over the country. The moderate wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rains and gusty wind in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai,
Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.

Yasothon, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rains and gusty wind in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.
