General Situation
The active monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast of Thailand. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Abundant rains are likely in the overall country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible for the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South. People should beware of heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands.
The rather strong high wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore until 9 September 2022.

Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Sukhothai, Uttaradit, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu,
Udon Thani, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen,
Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat,

Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok,
Chachoengsao, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,
Chumphon and Surat Thani.

Southern Part (West Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong,
Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi.
