General Situation
The high-pressure system from China still covers the upper Laos, the upper North and the Northeast of Thailand, causing the active monsoon trough lies across the Central region and the lower Northeast into the low-pressure cell over the middle coast of Vietnam. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Abundant rains are likely in the overall country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible for the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the Eas t and the South. People should beware of heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands.
The rather strong high wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore until 9 September 2022.

Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok,

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,
Chumphon and Surat Thani.

Surat Thani upwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
