General Situation
The high-pressure system from China covers upper Laos and the upper North of Thailand while the active monsoon trough lies across the Central, the lower Northeast and the East regions into the low-pressure cell over Cambodia and southern Vietnam. At the same time, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Torrential rains are likely in the overall country, and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible for the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands.
The rather strong high wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf 2-3 meters high and in thundershowers above 3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore lasting 9 September.

Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.

Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains
in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom,
Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram and Surin.

Varieble winds 10-30 km/hr.
Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya,
Lopburi, Saraburi. Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers. Heavy rains in many places and very heavy rains in some places
in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Surat Thani upwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
