During 19 ? 20 Sep, the monsoon trough will move up to lie across the upper portions of the North, the upper Northeast of Thailand and upper Laos. Isolated heavy rains are are forecast over the country. During 21 ? 25 Sep, another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Laos and upper Vietnam leads to the monsoon trough move down to lie across the North, the Central, and the Northeast. More rains with isolated gust are likely in the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South.
The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf throughout the period. The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Warning
People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and its accumulation with gust that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
