Another high-pressure system from China extend to upper Laos and upper Vietnam leads to the monsoon trough move down to lie across the upper North and the Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over the middle portions of Vietnam. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains and gusty wind are likely in the North, the Northeast and the East regions. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands.
