Another high-pressure system from China extend to upper Laos and upper Vietnam leads to the monsoon trough move down to lie across the North, the Central, the East and the Northeast into the low-pressure cell over the middle part of Vietnam. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf throughout the period. Abundant rains with isolated gusty wind are likely in the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South.
The moderate wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers throughout the period.
Warning
People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and its accumulation with gust that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
