During 28 ? 30 Sep 2022, the storm NORU over the lower Laos will move to the lower Northeast tonight (28 Sep 2022) and it will degrade to the tropical depression and an active low pressure respectively and covers the Central. Meanwhile, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Torrential rains with widespread rainfalls are likely in the country and scattered heavy to very heavy rains with gusty winds are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South. During 1 ? 4 Oct 2022, the monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the East. isolated heavy rains are possible in the country.
The strong wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters offshore while the waves in the lower Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters offshore.
