Meanwhile, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South. During 1 ? 3 Oct 2022, the monsoon trough will lie across the lower North, the upper Central and the East with the rather strong southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. isolated heavy rains are possible in the country. During 4 ? 5 Oct 2022, the high pressure from China will extend to the Northeast and the South China Sea leading to the easterly wind and the southeasterly wind prevail over the upper country. The monsoon trough will lie across the Central and the East while the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf will weaken. Less rain are forecast for the North and the Northeast while heavy rain in the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, the East and the South.
During 29 Sep ? 2 Oct 2022, the wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters offshore while the waves in the lower Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters offshore.
