During 3 ? 4 Oct 2022, the monsoon trough lie across the Central and the East while the easterly and southeasterly wind prevail over the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the South. Continuous rainfall remains in the overall country and isolated heavy rains are possible in some places of the lower North, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South regions. The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are 1 - 2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and in the Gulf are about 1 meter high, above 1 meter high in thundershowers. During 5 ? 9 Oct 2022, another high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper North, the upper Northeast and the South China Sea lead the monsoon trough lie across the lower Central, the East and the South while the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea and the South will weaken. Less rain is forecast for the North and the Northeast while isolated heavy rain in the lower North, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South regions.
Warning
People should beware of severe condition and its accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands throughout the period. All ships in the upper Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
