During 18 ? 20 Oct, the moderate high-pressure system from China still covers the upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Less rains, morning cool and strong wind are likely in the upper country. Resulting in 1 - 3 C drop in temperature is likely in the North and the Northeast, and 1 - 2 C drop in temperature is likely in the Central and the East. During 21 ? 24 Oct, the moderate high-pressure system over upper Thailand and the South China Sea will weaken. Increasing in temperature with morning fog and isolated rains are likely in the upper country. The monsoon trough lies across the middle South cause continuous rainfalls and isolated heavy to very heavy rains. While the low-pressure cell over Bay of Bengal is expected to intensifiy. Resulting in the rather strong southwest monsoon, which the rather strong wind force will affect the waves in the Andaman Sea up to 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers during 18 ? 22 Oct. In addition, typhoon ?NESAT? over the upper South China Sea was centered of east of Hainan, China. It is expected to move through southern Hainan, China and will make landfall over upper Vietnam from 19 to 21 October.
