General Situation 21 October 2022
The monsoon trough prevails across the middle South of Thailand, and an active low-pressure cell covers the upper Andaman Sea. At the same time, the strong southwesterly wind prevails the upper Andaman Sea with continuous rainfalls and isolated torrential rains in the whole South. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands. The winds in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand become stronger, forcing the waves in the Andaman Sea are 2-3 meters high and in thundershowers more than 3 meters high, the waves in the Gulf 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore lasting 22 October.
The high-pressure system covering upper Thailand is weakening. Meanwhile, the southeasterly wind at high-altitude prevails over the lower Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. Morning fog, increasing temperature and isolated rains are likely in the upper country. People should keep healthy due to the variable weather.

Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rains
in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung.
Minimum temperature 23-24 C.
Maximum temperature 29-32 C.
Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy to very heavy rains
in Ranong, Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
Minimum temperature 23-24 C.
Maximum temperature 26-32 C.
Krabi upwards: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Trang downwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
