General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the upper South with morning cool. A slighly decrease in temperature is forecast for the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South regions. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold is likely. The minimum temperature of North mountaintops is in range of 7-14 C while the Northeast ranges by 10-15 C. People should keep healthy.
The low-pressure cell covers Malaysia and Malaca strait. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. Continuous rainfalls and isolated heavy rains are forecast in the lower South. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows.
In addition, tropical storm NALGAE over the southern coast of China is expected to make landfall over the coast of Guangdong, China by 3 November. It will then downgrade rapidly with no effect on Thailand?s weather.

in Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Surat Tlhani upwards: Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Trang and Satun.

Maximum temperature 32-33 C.
Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Bangkok Metropolitan
