Weather Outlook From 21 - 27 Nov 2022
During 21 - 25 Nov, the active low-pressure system over south Vietnam will move to the upper Gulf of Thailand, causing the monsoon trough that across the upper South strengthen. More rains are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast and the Central, isolated very heavy rains in Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South regions. The waves in the Gulf of Thailand are 2 - 3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers. The waves in the Andaman Sea are 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. During 26 - 27 Nov, the monsoon trough across the upper South will weaken while the weak southeasterly wind prevails over the lower North, the lower Northeast, Bangkok and its vicinity, the East, decreasing of rains over the country. The waves in the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. The waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
During 22 - 25 November 2022, people in upper Thailand and the South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash floods and surface runoff, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. During 21 - 24 November 2022, all ships in the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore.
