General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the lower South into the active low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South is strengthening with more rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the lower South. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. People in the lower South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
Another moderate high-pressure system from China covers upper Thailand. A decrease in temperatures by 1 - 2 C, strong wind and isolated rains are likely in the upper country. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold is forecast. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 7-14 C while the Northeast ranges by 10-14 C. People in upper Thailand should keep healthy due to variable weathers, and farmers should prevent for crop damage.
On 2 and 3 Dec, the low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea will activate moving to the coast of lower southern Thailand and Malaysia. It will then pass the South into the Andaman Sea and 4 and 5 Dec with heavy to very heavy rains in some of the South while the waves in the lower Gulf become strong on 3 and 4 Dec.

Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated hevy to very heavy rains
in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 28-32 C.
Surat Thani upwards: Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Trang and Satun.
Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C.
Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
