The strong high-pressure system covers upper Thailand with cool to cold weather and strong winds. A decrease in temperatures by 2-4 C is likely in the North and the Northeast while 1-2 C is possible in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. People should keep healthy and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air.
The strong northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea with heavy to very heavy rains in many places of the South. In the Gulf and offshore Andaman, the waves are likely up to 2-4 meters high and more than 4 meters high inthundershowers. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore lasting 20 December.

Southern (East Coast)
Upper part: Cool with a slight decrease in temperature.
Lower part: Farily widespread thundershowers and heavy to very heavy rains in
many places of Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
Minimum temperature 19-23 C. Maximum temperature 25-28 C.
Northeasterly winds 20-45 km/hr.
Wave height 2-4 meters and in thundershowers above 4 meters.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Krabi, Trang and Satun.
Minimum temperature 23-25 C.
Maximum temperature 25-28 C.
Northeasterly winds 20-45 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters, 2?4 meters offshore and above 4 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Cool with strong winds and a decrease in temperatures by 1-2 C.
Minimum temperature 18-20 C.
Maximum temperature 27-30 C.
