General Situation

The rather strong high-pressure system extents to the north of Laos and Vietnam. It will cover the upper Thailand with windy today. Decreasing in temperatures by 3-5 C are forcast for the upper country. People should keep healthy due to the cool to cold weather and beware of fire because of dry air with windy.The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the lower Gulf of Thailand and the South with isolated heavy rains in the lower South (east coast). The rather strong wind forces the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2-3 meters high, in thundershowers above 3 meters high. People in the lower South should beware of heavy to very heahvy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially in the foothills near the waterways and the lowland areas. People along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers and small boats in the lower Gulf should keep ashore.

Southern (East Coast)
Upper part: morning cool.Lower part: isolated thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.Minimum temperature 19-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Surat Thani upwards: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr.Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun.Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
