General Situation

The strong high-pressure system covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening with an increase in temperature over the upper country. Cool to cold weather is likely in the North and the Northeast while cool in the morning is likely in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South regions. People should keep healthy due to the variable weather and beware of fire because of dry air.The strong northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf of Thailand and the South is weakening with less rains and isolated thundershowers in the lower South. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2-3 meters high, in thundershowers above 3 meters high. People in the lower South should beware of severe conditions. People along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers and small boats in the lower Gulf should keep ashore.

Maximum temperature 29-31 C. Surat Thani upwards: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr.Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
