Weather Outlook During 9 - 15 Mar 2023
During 9 - 11 Mar 2023 and On 15 Mar 2023, the weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea lead eastery and southeastery winds prevail over upper Thailand. Morning light fog and hot during the day are likely in the upper country while the weather still be cool in the morning for the North and the Northeast. During 12 - 14 Mar 2023, the another moderate high pressure from China will extend to cover the Northeast and the South China Sea. It will bring eastery and southeastery winds to the North, the Central and the East. Meanwhile the westerly trough will move to upper Thailand. Thunderstorms with gust wind and hail including lightning strike are likely in the areas. The eastly and the southeasterly wind prevailing over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea will weaken with less rains and isolated thundershowers mostly in the lower part. The wind and wave in the lower Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and about 2 meters high in thundershowers.

People in the upper country should keep healthy due to the variable weather throughout the period. During 12 - 14 Mar 2023, people in the upper country should beware severe conditions.
