During 20 - 22 Feb, the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions with hot during the day and isolated thundershowers. During 23 - 26 Feb, the high-pressure system from China will extend to Vietnam and the South China Sea leading to the southerly and southeasterly winds that bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions will be strengthening while hot weather occurs in the upper country. Isolated thundershowers with gusty wind including lightning strike are likely in some areas of the upper country. The easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers. The weak wind and waves in the Gulf is likely about 1 meter high and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the wave has below 1 meter high and above 1 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Caution
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to changeable weather and beware of severe conditions throughout the period. During 23 - 26 Feb, people in the Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East should stay safe from the severe weather conditions by keeping off outdoor places, large trees and unsecured buildings.
