7-day Forecast For period of Mar 10, 2008 - Mar 16, 2008 Weather Forecast During this period, high pressure system over upper Thailand is weakening while easterly and southeasterly winds prevails over Thailand and the Gulf. These cause rises in temperature to become hot during daytime, but cool weather with fog in the morning over Northern and northeastern Thailand are likely over the areas while isolated thundershowers over upper Thailand. Widely scattered to scattered thundershowers are expected over southern Thailand. Strong wind-wave in the lower Gulf of Thailand with wave height about 2 meters is likely from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward during 10-12 March, and then wave height will weakening. Warning During 10-12 March, all ships from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward should proceed with caution. Northern Part Morning fog. Cool with haze during daytime, minimum temperature 16-23 C. Cold in the mountain tops. Minimum temperature 8-13C. During 10-11 March, isolated to widely scattered rain in the upper portion. Easterly winds 10-25 km/hr. Northeastern Part Morning fog. Cool with haze during daytime, minimum temperature 18-23 C. Cold in the mountain tops. Minimum temperature 10-15C. Isolated to widely scattered rain mostly in the upper portion during 10-11 March. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Central Part Morning mist. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Hot with haze during daytime, maximum temperature 35-38 C. Widely scattered rain mostly during 10-13 March. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Eastern Part Morning mist. Minimum temperature 24-26 ?C. Hot with haze during daytime, maximum temperature 35-36 C in the upper portion. Isolated to widely scattered thundershowers mostly along the coastal areas during 10-13 March. Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in the thundershowers areas offshore. Southern Part (East Coast) Widely scattered to scattered thundershowers throughout of the period. During 10-12 March, Upper Gulf from Surat Thani northward: Southeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters. Lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: Easterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters. During 13-16 March, the sea wave will weaken. Southern Part (West Coast) Isolated to widely scattered thundershowers throughout of the period. During 10-12, March, Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr with wave height 1 meter and 1-2 meters off-shore. During 13-16 March, the sea wave will weaken. Metropolitan Morning mist.
