7-day Forecast For period of Mar 11, 2008 - Mar 17, 2008 Weather Forecast During this period, high pressure system over upper Thailand will weaken while easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over Thailand and the Gulf. These cause rises in temperature to become hot during daytime, but cool weather with fog in the morning over northern and northeastern Thailand are likely over the areas. Thundershower is expected over upper Thailand. Strong wind-wave in the lower Gulf of Thailand with wave height about 2 meters is likely from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward during 11-13 March, and then wave height will weakening. Warning During 11-13 March, all ships from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward should proceed with caution. Northern Part Morning fog. Cool with haze during daytime, minimum temperature 16-23 C. Cold in the mountain tops. Minimum temperature 9-13C. Isolated to widely scattered rain throughout most of the period. Easterly winds 10-25 km/hr. Northeastern Part Morning fog. Wave height 1-2 meters. Lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: Easterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters. During 14-17 March, the sea wave will weaken. Southern Part (West Coast) Isolated to widely scattered thundershowers throughout of the period. During 11-13, March, easterly winds 15-35 km/hr with wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters off-shore. During 14-17 March, easterly winds 15-30 km/hr with wave height about 1 meter.
