These causes heavy to very heavy rainfall in many places over Thailand especially in the west portion of country mostly during 2-5 May. The southwesterly wind has prevailed over the Andaman Sea will intensify its strength. High wave will occur in the Andaman Sea with wave height above 3 meters during 2-4 May and 2-3 meters in the thundershowers areas over the Gulf of Thailand during 3-6 May. Warning During this period, people in the risky areas such as Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Tak, Chiang Mai, Phrae, Lampang, Nan, Uttaradit, Phetchabun, Sukhothai Kanchaburi and Uthai Thani provinces should beware of flash flood and small ship in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore during 2-4 May while all ship in the upper Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat northward should proceed with caution during 3-6 May.
