Abundant rain and heavy to very heavy rainfall in many places are expected over Thailand especially in the west portion of country and the eastern mostly during 5, 8-11 May. High wave will occur in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf with wave height above 3 meters. During 6-7 May, southwest monsoon which over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand will be weakening, cause decreasing rain and weak wind-wave. Warning During this period, people in the risky areas such as Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Tak, Kanchanaburi, Ranong, Phangnga, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces should beware of flash flood and small ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore during 5-6 and 8-11 May .
