Daily Forecast Distribution On May 14, 2008 General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time A rather intense low pressure trough is lying from a low pressure cell in Myanmar across upper Thailand to a low pressure cell in the South China Sea. Abundant rain all over the country remains with heavy fall in many places especially of the windward side of the Central and the East. People in the risk areas should beware of flooding conditions during this period. Areas include the following provinces: Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphaengphet, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Chanthaburi, Trat, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Ranong and Phangnga. In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, high waves above 2 meters occur. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore during 14-15 May.
