Warning "Heavy Rain and Flooding" No. 24 (340/2551) Time Issued : September 16, 2008 A trough of rather active low pressure lies across the North to a low pressure cell in the Northeast, and the rather strong southwest monsoon remains over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Abundant rain is likely over upper Thailand with heavy to very heavy rains in many areas such as Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Phichit, Phetchabun, Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Sakon Nakhon, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Maha Sarakham, Kalasin, Amnat Charoen, Sisaket, Ubon Ratchathani, Surin, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Chanthaburi, Trat, Saraburi and Lop Buri. People in lowland and foothill of these areas should beware of flooding conditions during 1-2 days.
