General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The trough of active low pressure lies across lower southern Thailand toward the low pressure cell in the lower South China Sea. Torrential rain is expected in many place of the South. People in risky areas of Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla and Pattani should beware of possible flooding. Wave in the Gulf is expected 2-4 meters. All ships should proceed with caution while small boats in the Gulf keep ashore in the following 1-2 days.
Moderate high pressure system has covered upper part of the country. Thundershowers are likely first, and then temperature decreases by 2-4 C with windy over the area.
