Weather Forecast A high pressure system covers the upper Thailand is weakening and also the northeast monsoon prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand weak. This causes widely scattered to scattered thundershowers in the south. While tropical storm “Noul” in the central South China Sea will be moving to Vietnam on Nov, 18 and weakening to low pressure cell in the Gulf of Thailand on Nov, 19. During 19-20 Nov, increasing rain in the south.
During 18-21 November, another surge of rather intense high pressure system will extend its ridge to cover upper Thailand again. This cause thundershowers at the first time and then 3-5 oC drop to become cooler. The northeast monsoon which over the South and the Gulf of Thailand will be strength. Wind-wave in the Gulf will intensify.
Warning During 19-21 Nov, people in the North and Northeast should take care their healthy while people in the risky areas over southern Thailand from Chumphon southward beware of flooding conditions. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution.
Northern Part During 17-18 Nov, cold in the upper part while cool elsewhere with morning fog and thick patches in many places, minimum temperature 13-16 oC. Cold to very cold in the high mountain, minimum temperature 4-9 ?C. Northeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr. During 18-19 Nov, 2-4 oC drops. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Northeastern Part During 17-18 Nov, isolated to widely scattered thundershowers mostly lower part with cool, minimum temperature 16-23 oC. Cold in the high mountain, minimum temperature 12-15 ?C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. During 19-20 Nov, 2-5 oC drops. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Central Part During 17-18 Nov, isolated to widely scattered thundershowers with cool with minimum temperature 20-23 oC. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. During 19-20 Nov, 2-3 oC drops to become morning cool. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Eastern Part During 17-18 Nov, isolated to widely scattered thundershowers with cool in the upper portion, minimum temperature 22-23 oC. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.
During 19-20 Nov, 2-3 oC drops to become cool and morning mist. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters.
Southern Part (East Coast) During 17-18 Nov, widely scattered to scattered thundershowers. Northeasterly wind 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters. During 19-21 Nov, scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains. Northeasterly wind 20-40 km./hr. Wave height 2-3 meters.
Southern Part (West Coast) During 17-18 November, isolated to widely scattered thundershower. Variable winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter. During 19-21 Nov, scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers. Variable winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.
Metropolitan During 17-18 Nov, isolated to widely scattered showers and cool, minimum temperature 22-23 oC. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. During 19-21 Nov, 1-3 oC drop to become morning cool. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
