Weather Forecast Rather intense high pressure system from China will extend its ridge to cover upper Thailand. This cause 1-3 oC drops to become cooler with windy. The northeast monsoon over the South and the Gulf of Thailand will be strength during 21-22 and 25-26 Nov.
The active low pressure cell will move from the lower Gulf pass the lower southern Thailand and Malaysia to the Andaman Sea. Heavy to very heavy rain are expected over the lower southern Thailand. Wind-wave in the Gulf will intensify with wave height 2-3 meters.
Warning During this period, people in the North and Northeast should take care their healthy while people in the risky areas over southern Thailand from Surat Thani southward should beware of flooding conditions. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and small boat from lower Chumporn should keep ashore.
Northern Part Cool in generally, minimum temperature 16-23 oC with morning fog. Cold in the high mountain, minimum temperature 8-12 ?C. 1-3 oC drops to become cold in the upper part. While cold to very cold, minimum temperature 4-9 oC. Northeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Northeastern Part 1-3 oC drops with windy. Cold in the upper part, minimum temperature 13-16?C. while cool elsewhere, minimum temperature 16-21 oC with morning fog. Cold to very cold in the high mountain, minimum temperature 7-11 ?C. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Central Part Morning light fog. 1-3 oC drops mostly, to become cool in the upper portion, minimum temperature
19-22 oC. with windy. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Eastern Part Morning light fog. 1-3 oC drops, to become cool in the upper portion, minimum temperature 19-23 oC. with windy.
Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meter and above 2 meters off-shore.
Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers throughout of the period. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the lower portion from Surat Thani southward. During 23-25 Nov, increasing rain in the lower portion.
Northeasterly wind 20-40 km./hr. Wave height 2-3 meters.
Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rain throughout of the period.
Northeasterly wind 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.
Metropolitan 1-3 oC drops, to become cool, minimum temperature 20-22 oC. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
