Weather Forecast During 5-10 Dec, another surge of rather intense high pressure system from China will extend its ridge to cover upper Thailand. Cold weather with 3-5 degree drop with windy are likely over upper Thailand.
During 6-9 Dec, the active northeast monsoon over southern Thailand and the Gulf, and the low pressure cell in the lower South China Sea will be move pass Malaysia during 6-7 Dec. This causes abundant rain with isolated heavy to very heavy falls in the lower southern Thailand. Wind-wave in the Gulf is expected with wave height 2-4 meters
Warning During 6-9 Dec, 2008, people in the risky areas of the lower South of Patthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat should beware of flooding conditions. All ships in lower of the Gulf should proceed with caution in this period.
Northern Part Cold, 2-4 oC drop with morning fog, minimum temperature 8-14 oC. Very cold in the high mountain and frost in some area, minimum temperature 1-5 ?C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

minimum temperature 5-9 C. Northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Central Part Cool, 2-4 oC drop with windy with minimum temperature 16-20 oC.

Eastern Part Cool, 2-4 oC drop with windy with minimum temperature 17-21 oC.

From Surat Thani southward: scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers the most of throughout
the period and isolated heavy to very heavy rains especially during Dec 6-9.

Southern Part (West Coast) Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in the lower portion throughout of the period
and isolated heavy rains especially during Dec 6-9 .
