General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The intense high pressure system from China has dominated upper Thailand causing cold weather while 1-2 C drops in the North.
The strong northeast monsoon over the Gulf and southern Thailand, and the low pressure cell at the coastal zone of Malaysia. Abundant rain and isolated heavy fall are likely in lower southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. Due to heavy rain conditions, people in disaster areas along mountainous and riverside areas should beware of repetitive flooding during 1-2 days. Wind and wave with 2-4 meters in the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 7-9 December 2008.
