Weather Forecast During 12-13 Dec, 2008, high pressure system which over upper Thailand is weaken, causes slightly increasing in temperature with morning fog, but still cool weather.
During 14-18 Dec, another surge of rather active high pressure system from China will extend its ridge to cover upper Thailand, causes 2-4 oC drop and windy. The low pressure cell in the lower South China Sea will move to Malaysia during 13-15 Dec. Increasing in rainfall are likely in the lower southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat province southward.
Warning During 14-16 Dec, people in the risky areas of the lower southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward should beware of heavy rain and flooding conditions and all ships in lower of the Gulf should proceed with caution.
Northern Part Morning fog. During 12-14 Dec, cold in the upper portion, minimum temperature 13-15 oC. and cool elsewhere, minimum temperature 16-21 oC. Cold to very cold in the high mountain, minimum temperature 5-10?C. And then during 15-18 Dec, 1-3 oC. Northeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Morning fog. During 12-13 Dec, cold in the upper portion, minimum temperature 14-16 oC. and cool elsewhere, minimum temperature 17-22 oC. Cold in the high mountain, minimum temperature 9-14?C. And then during 15-18 Dec, 2-4 oC with windy. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Central Part During 12-14 Dec, cool with morning mist, minimum temperature 16-22 oC. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. And then during 15-18 Dec, 1-3 oC. with windy. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Eastern Part During 12-14 Dec, cool with morning mist, minimum temperature 17-22 oC. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters off-shore.
And then during 15-18 Dec, 1-3 oC. with windy. Northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and 2-3 meters off-shore.
Southern Part (East Coast) During 12-13 Dec, morning cool from Surat Thani northward while isolated to widely scattered mostly in the lower portion from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward.
Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters. After that during 14-18 Dec, scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. Northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and 2-3 meters off-shore.
Southern Part (West Coast) During 12-13 Dec, cool with cloudy. Isolated thundershowers mostly in the lower part. Northeasterly wind 15-35 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters off-shore. After that during 14-18 Dec, widely scattered to scattered thundershowers mainly in the lower part.
