After that during 8-13 Jan, 2009, another surge of intense high pressure system from China will extended its ridge to cover upper Thailand again. Colder weather with 2-5oC drops and windy are expected over the country. Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rain are likely in the lower South and strong wind and wave in the Gulf. Increasing rainfall in the lower South is likely and strength wind-wave in the lower Gulf. Warning During Jan 9-13. Increasing rain in the lower part of south is expected. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and small boat from Surat Thani southward should keep ashore
