Weather Forecast The weak high pressure system dominated Thailand and the Gulf’s. There is still cool weather and morning fog with thick patches in many places over the upper Thailand. During 23-25 Jan, another moderate high pressure system from China will extend its ridge to cover northeastern Thailand and the South China Sea. Decreasing temperature and cooler weather in the areas are likely. While prevailing of northeast monsoon over the Gulf and southern Thailand will strength, causes moderate wind-wave in the lower Gulf.Warning During 21-22 Jan, all forms of transport should beware of accident due to poor visibility. During 24-26 Jan, all ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution.

Northern Part Morning fog and thick patches in many places. Cold in the upper portion and cool elsewhere, minimum temperature 12-17oC. cold to very cold in the high mountain, minimum temperature 5-10C. Light winds 6-12 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Morning fog and thick patches in some places. Cold in the upper portion and cool elsewhere, minimum temperature 13-19oC. Cold in the high mountain, minimum temperature 8-12C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. After that during 23-26 Jan, 1-3C drops. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Central Part Cool with morning fog and thick patches in some places. Minimum temperature 16-23oC. Easterly winds 10-25 km/hr. After that during 24-26 Jan, isolated light rain mostly in the lower portion. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Cool with morning fog and thick patches in some places. Minimum temperature 18-23oC. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter. After that during 24-26 Jan, isolated to widely scattered rain mostly along the coastal areas. Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cool with morning fog, minimum temperature 18-23 oC. Isolated to widely scattered thundershowers mostly from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters. After that during 24-27 Jan, widely scattered to scattered thundershowers mostly from Surat Thani southward. Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters.

Southern Part (West Coast) Partly cloudy. Easterly wind 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter.

After that during 24-26 Jan, isolated to widely scattered rain mostly in the lower portion.

Easterly wind 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.

Metropolitan Cool with morning fog and thick patches in some places. Minimum temperature 20-23oC. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. After that during 24-26 Jan, isolated light rain.

Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
